Family culture
My family has different activities involving my culture. I like the things we do because they are very interesting and fun. I mean wouldn’t you like to do something with your family like have a family reunion in which everyone brings their own food to eat off of or knowing that you dance every weekend with family friends, having fun while at the same time knowing that you represent your culture with pride. See I am proud of being Bolivian because we do things differently than any other Latino culture. Sure we learn about the spoiled girls who celebrate their quinceaƱeras, but no one celebrates a sweet sixteen like my family does.
I can’t live without my family because they will always be there for me and I love them to death. Every time I go on that dance floor I smile. I can’t help it because I know that my family is proud of me no matter what goes down on that dance floor and if I mess up, so what? I’m not like those spoiled girls we read about in film class. I am me and no one can change that. I am Bolivian and I always will be. My family and my friends will always be there for me and I know I can count on them always and forever.
